Video Editor Intern
Your camera is your superpower. Now use it to shape the next era of tech.
Heizen is building the world's fastest software development engine using AI Agents + elite engineers. But in a world of noise, speed alone isn't enough. We need stories that stick.
We're looking for a Video Editor Intern to turn raw ideas (funny, thoughtful, technical, inspiring or bold) into cinematic content that actually hits. Think founder mini-docs, sketch-style product explainers, comedy reels on startup life, or intimate BTS footage of building something new.
This is an end-to-end creative role: from brainstorming to storyboarding, filming to editing, it's all you.
Perfect for a film student or early-career creator who's hungry to ship, learn, and go viral.
What You'll Do
- Create 3–4 cinematic short-form videos per month that entertain, educate, and inspire across Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Translate abstract ideas into stories like "the old software services model is broken" or "AI isn't replacing engineers, it's unlocking them"
- Script, shoot, and edit autonomously, using whatever gear you're comfortable with (DSLRs, phones, gimbals up to you)
- Bring tone and pacing range. Some pieces will be high-energy and funny. Others subtle, raw, or dramatic. You'll own that vision.
- Capture real startup life. We're a fast-moving AI company. There's always something to film, if you know how to see it.
You Might Be a Fit If
- You're a film student, recent grad, or self-taught filmmaker with a strong portfolio of short-form content
- You've made videos that are funny, clever, emotional, or visually stunning with no fancy budget
- You're confident editing in Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci, or whatever helps you move fast
- You're obsessed with storytelling - whether it's a tech founder journey or a viral 30s joke on burnout
- You want full creative freedom, not corporate constraints
Why Heizen?
- Backed by legends: Titan Capital (Kunal Bahl, Rohit Bansal), Varun Alagh (Mama Earth), Abhishek Goyal (Tracxn)
- A rare chance to be the visual architect of a fast-growing AI startup's brand
- Work directly with the founding team to shape the story, not just "deliver content"
- High trust, async-first, creative-led environment
- The brand you build will be seen by the who's who of AI, startups, and tech media globally, especially in California
This is your chance to build a portfolio that gets seen, and remembered.
